POST-EVENT SUMMARY
Dear Life Logistics Members & Friends,
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to over 80+ pharma freight forwarders who joined our first Virtual Conference last November 4-6, 2020. We appreciate your support and effort in making this year’s conference, a remarkable one! I’m pleased to share with you the highlights of our 3-day digital event.
We opened our Virtual Conference Kick-Off Meeting via Zoom with a community open mic with our delegates where they were able to meet new pharma forwarders in the circle as well as the current ones and caught up with the latest happenings in their countries and regions.
Afterwards, Steven Alves, the Director of Life Logistics Network shared all the latest developments in the network which includes the updated global market coverage, newly onboarded members, territories unlocked and plan for the year 2021.
Our newly onboarded members were also given the opportunity to introduce themselves and highlight their key competencies in pharma forwarding.
We also gave a sneak peek of our Network’s Mobile Intranet App that will be launched in the coming months.
On to the next segment of our Kick-Off Meeting, we invited our founding members for a panel discussion about the new normal. We discussed the current impact of the COVID19 pandemic in their freight business and industry as a whole, the lasting changes that it brings, and their insights regarding their country’s economic recovery moving forward.
The delegates also received valuable insights from our Keynote Speaker, Mark Millar on his topic – “Logistics Trends after COVID19”.
We concluded our Kick-Off Meeting with closing remarks from Steven Alves and joyful conversations among the delegates.
On to the remaining days of the Virtual Conference, our members proceeded with their virtual face-to-face meetings, with their esteemed Life Logistics partners, via Skype/Zoom. Their meetings were prescheduled using our newly launched Face-to-Face Meeting Scheduler Mobile App.
