Life Logistics Network’s 3rd Annual Partnership Meeting, co-located with Cold Chain Connect, Global Aircargo Alliance and Aircargo group AGMs, was a HUGE success with over 200+ freight forwarders who attended the in-person event.
Being the global alliance for top class pharmaceutical forwarders, we are the first specialized network to hold a networking event for pharma freight partners amidst the pandemic. It was indeed a refreshing breather for all of us, after the long 2-year hiatus of staying at home and attending virtual meetings. It was one for the books indeed!
To officially start the most-awaited conference, we welcomed the delegates from different territories worldwide over cocktail last May 8 at Grand Hyatt’s Al Manzil. It was a wonderful experience reconnecting with freight partners and developing relationships with new ones after a long 2-year break.
After a night full of cocktail and fun, we were back to business the next day as we officially open the conference with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with all the networks’ directors and co-founders. Afterwards, Steven Alves, Director & Co-Founder of Life Logistics, presented all the developments and milestones in the network. One of the highlights of the network updates is the growth of the group from to 46 members and recently opened 10 new territories.
It was then followed by Life Logistics Newbie Open Mic with all new Life Logistics members coming up on stage to introduce themselves and their companies.
We also had Mark Millar, a prominent keynote supply chain speaker, who delivered his speech on "What is Shaping Logistics (Air/Sea) in 2022" where the delegates picked up valuable insights in the industry, back-to-back with Julian Sutch, Pharma Global Sales of Emirates Skycargo, who presented their product portfolio and service offerings.
Our Platinum Sponsor – Mr. Sumit Agarwal from Ryal Logistics (India) and Gold Sponsor – Mr. Roberto Colucci from World Cargo (Italy) also had the opportunity to showcase their companies and service offerings to the delegates.
In the afternoon, the delegates gathered together for the first wave of face-to-face meetings.
After a half day of face-to-face meetings on Day 3, the delegates ticked off one of items on Dubai’s travel bucket list – dune bashing at the Desert Safari! Everyone enjoyed traversing the glittering golden sands and witnessing the magical sunset at the Lahbab desert.
After the adrenaline pumping ride, the delegates proceeded to the camp where they were relished with Arabian dinner as they watch amusing presentations.
On the 4th day of the conference, the delegates continued in meeting and developing synergies with their esteemed pharma freight partners in the network and delegates from Cold Chain Connect, Global Aircargo Alliance and Aircargo group.
We then concluded a great conference with our closing party where delegates took time to unwind and cheers to their new found friendships.
Thanks to everyone for making our 3rd Annual Partnership Meeting a huge success! We’re excited to see you all again at our next conference to be announced soon. If you have any questions, you can email us at
